It is incredibly important to gain experience to impress clients and agents. At a young age it may be worthwhile to secure voluntary positions to build your confidence and a portfolio of work to show your talent. A good first impression is crucial therefore, act positively and maturely at all times. Listen carefully to what is required before your arrival and get all information prior to the date of the casting. Arriving late dressed in the wrong clothing could lead to an immediate dismissal and not given a chance to showcase your ability. Plan your route in advance and take into account traffic and the unreliability of public transport. Attend as many castings as possible to increase your chances of securing a job role. Brands who cater for teenagers such as H&M and M&S will hold castings for 16 year olds to attend.
